Below are the pictures from my third floppy disk. I think I started taking them on Monday morning as a few people were hanging out by the docks...
After lunch we all gathered at the hill behind Max Bell Hall for the Official Reunion Picture. It was quite interesting to watch everyone trying to find a spot to sit while the photographer climbed on top of the roof to get a good view of our crowd... when we were finally done, there were quite a few crushed shrubs on that hill!!
In the afternoon, there was a Soccer game "Europe vs. the Rest of the world". I think Richard Wise was the referee. I don't remember why I missed it, but I think that was when I took a scenic ride with Chuck, Arish, Bruce and Nicky (or was it Dai? -- see what too much "fun" does to your memory??)-- we went to a pub (I can't remember the name of the place either, but it was quite far from the college) where we met the rest of our crowd -- we had some wonderful frozen margaritas with nachos, and a very good time! (the good time part I remember well!!)
The next pictures were when my daughter, Erica, and her new friends: Brittany (Bradley's daughter) and Frederique (Marleen's daughter) decided to go canoeing... we all had a lot of fun watching the seals... and we even got to see an otter!
When we got back it was time for the Kid's Soccer game at "John Davis' Lookout "...
The only problem was that the ball kept going into the bay! We almost "lost" a few parents trying to save the ball! Ute (Year -3) went down the cliff on her knees... but she got the ball!
The referee (Dennis, Year -3) had to come up with some very creative "rules" to prevent the ball from talking a dive in the water! He ended up having the kids hopping backwards on one leg as they chased the ball around the field! I'm not sure we can still call that a soccer game, but it sure was a lot of fun for the kids ...and for the watchers!!
More pictures still to come!
