Village of Farmingdale
Beautification Committee

The Farmingdale Beautification Committee is a volunteer organization made up of community residents and welcomes family participation. It is funded and supported by the village board, donations from local business and fund-raisers; aided part-time by the public works department and a village contracted landscaper.

The committee pursues activities to continually improve the esthetic quality of living and doing business in Farmingdale as well as foster pride and involvement of our children in community service. They administer to the continued development of garden sites, maintenance of five major gardens, the village’s decorative entrance signs and Emil Gerngras children’s park.

Farmingdale Main Street

Annual special events include their Spring Plantings, Harvest Corn Stalks and Holiday Decorating down Main Street’s business/shopping district: Memorial Day Plant Sale and Columbus Day Pumpkin Patch Fund-raiser.  Girl Scout and Eagle Scout community service projects are also coordinated through the committee’s efforts. Bimonthly meetings are held at the Village Hall.
All are welcome...
